About Robert Alfaro
The Art of Storytelling: Robert’s Path to Literary Success


Robert Alfaro serves as the President and CEO of Alfaro Education Services.
With over 30 years of experience in education as a teacher, director, principal, superintendent, and area superintendent across San Antonio ISD in Texas and Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Robert has dedicated his career to enhancing the lives of children in public, private, and charter schools.

Robert began his journey teaching Limited English-speaking middle school students in Plainview, Texas. He spent eleven years teaching at both middle and high school levels before becoming the Director of Educational Programs in Fort Stockton, Texas. There, he worked with Early Childhood Education, Vocational Education, and College and Career Ready programs via Midland College and Sul Ross State University. He was then recruited to lead a struggling elementary school, where he implemented research-based practices in Early Education, spending three years before moving to a high school in Seguin, Texas as an assistant principal.
Promoted to Associate Superintendent for Accountability, Technology, and Management Information Services in San Antonio, Robert led a district-wide technological infrastructure upgrade, enhancing efficiency across all schools. His work caught the attention of the Broad Superintendent’s Academy, and he was selected as a Broad Fellow in 2003. After graduating, he became the East Region Superintendent for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, where his leadership led to increased student achievement in reading and math, transforming teaching practices still in use today. Following his tenure at CCSD, Robert joined Renaissance Learning Inc. as the National Director for Urban Accounts, collaborating with the largest school districts nationwide.
